Dedicating garden space to annuals, other flowers and shrubs for cutting, can be both decorative and productive.  Carefully planned combinations, staking tricks and maintenance can extend the season and ensure unusual varieties for cutting and arranging which are not available in the shops.  Hugely rewarding and enjoyable, only a small corner is needed to dedicate to this kind of planting which brings the outside in.
