Land Sculpture

Land sculpture can be a deliberate design decision to create a landscape form or a design possibility from unwanted spoil.  It’s an exciting opportunity to add interest and form to the landscape, surprise with views, shapes and angles not otherwise available and to pause and encourage reflection.

A mound and bunds have been created to shelter the garden and smudge the transition between the ornamental and natural landscape.  They also provide host to a colony of oxeye daisies, other wildflowers and native trees.
